Sea grass beds host the wonderfully prized King George Whiting. I like to imagine the fish gliding across the ocean floor, collecting a meal along the way and looking out across a a field in the ocean. I’ve used a lighter blue in this piece for the ocean because I love the translucent and light nature of this fish species.
Often recognised only as an eating fish this species is beautiful in its’ own right and I have felt compelled to share that through this artwork.
