Leafy Sea dragons are iconic in Australia and are endemic to our southern coastal waters. Leaf like appendages make them float and drift on the current and extremely adept at camouflage. In this piece I have sought to feature the sea creature whilst paying respect to the ability to hide in its’ surroundings.
A pure rich blue ocean colour makes this painting hard to ignore. It comes to life on the wall in a calming but eye catching way.
